Die Performance "Kotelett Ballett" spielt sich nahe dem Hafen Montevideo am Mercado del Puerto ab. Unmittelbar an den Platz schließt sich die größte Fleischmarkthalle Montevideos an, welche internationale Bekanntheit als Gastronomie- und Kulturstätte genießt. Auf über 1500 qm bilden die vielen Stände ein beachtliches Grillspektakel.
The Performance „Kotelett Ballett“ takes place near the harbour of Montevideo at the Mercado del Puerto. Next to the Location of the largest meat market hall of Montevideo which is internationally known as a catering and cultural site. The many stands form a remarkable barbecue spectacle on over 1500 square meters. The performance takes place on the forecourt of the market hall which is visible on a few security cameras. The four performers are going to dance Tschaikowskis „Four little swans“ in cutlet outfits on this place. The culture of food and the culture of dancing will be combined, which generates an ironic, amusing overall picture with a wink about human consumption behavior.
